Sky’s The Limit will be offering one day classes in astronomy beginning in April and continuing through June This will be limited to adults, College and High School students.  The cost will be $20 paid in advance using PayPal at a first come first serve basis. Classes will be limited to ten participants in order to give personalize instruction.

Participants will meet at the 2nd small building (class room) at a specified time (about 15 minuets before sundown). Instruction will begin with  a walk through tour of our Orrery, a scale model  of the  inner planets from Mercury to Mars. Next will be a one hour PowerPoint presentation in the class room on the basics of astronomy. This will be followed by instruction at the dome using different types of telescopes and binoculars. Next will be a tour of the night sky using binoculars (you may bring your own) followed by observing using our large 14 inch Celestron telescope located in the observatory dome. Observing will last as long as anyone is interested. It would be helpful if you could bring a red flashlight and a clipboard. You will receive star charts for each month and a copy of Celestron’s  brochure “How to buy your first telescope”.
