FULL MOON FESTIVAL
APRIL 11-12, 2025
This two-day festival under the full moon celebrating the desert as a source of inspiration for the arts, culture, and health, is hosted by Sky’s The Limit (STL) and Joshua Tree Residential Education Experience (JTREE) – both 501c3 nonprofits – and supported in part by a grant from Visit 29 Palms. The family-friendly weekend will feature free activities as well as separate, pre-paid workshops.

What's It All About?
In addition to full moon observing through telescopes, activities include a telescope clinic, a S.T.E.A.M. youth exploration workshop, moon lecture, orrery tours, youth crafts, solar scope viewing, music, dance performance with a dance masterclass for participants, Ranger talks, AND desert stories. Add-on workshops include glow-in-the-dark painting and panning for gold.
